Robert was born on July 23rd, 1942, to Trinidad and Santos Munoz in McPherson, Minnesota. He was the proud son of migrant farmers and enjoyed spending time laboring in the fields and farms he worked on throughout his life. His greatest passion was his family. He married the love of his life, Maria Gonzalez on January 12,1964, in Brownfield Tx. He was blessed with three wonderful children, nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren that filled his heart with joy. He was one of twelve children. Preceded in death by his wife Maria Munoz, his parents, Trinidad and Santos of Eagle Pass, TX, four brothers, Carlos and Rudolfo of Seagraves, TX, Ricardo of Asherton, TX, and Juan of Eagle Pass, TX, three sisters Guadalupe Hidalgo of Eagle Pass, TX, San Juanita Land of Seagraves, TX, and Alicia Biggerstaff of Missouri, and one grandchild, Ashley Munoz of San Diego, CA and 2 great grandchildren. He prided himself on having the prettiest yard in Wellman and the straightest cotton rows in Terry and Gaines counties. He enjoyed fishing and listening to norteño music. He loved dancing with his beautiful wife of 55 years. Most of all he enjoyed being surrounded with his loving family. He especially loved having all of his grandkids sleep over or coming together for holidays and celebrations. He loved seeing his house full of grandkids having a great time with Grandma and Grandpa’s. He will be dearly missed by his surviving brother Jesus of San Diego, CA, his three sisters Teresa Myers and Maria Saberali of Eagle Pass, TX, and Carmen Esparza of Seagraves, TX, his children Raymond (Diana) of Brownfield, Margaret Perez (Manuel) of Seagraves, TX, Lisa Munoz of Wellman, TX, his nine grandkids and 13 great grandchildren.
