Teresa Gaytan

Teresa Gaytan, 96, of Denver City, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Denver City, Texas. She was born on May 19, 1930, in Durango, Mexico, to Eliodoro Gaytan and Juliana Aguilar.

Teresa leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her son, Jose Antonio Gaytan; her daughters, Norma Gaytan and Leticia Loya; her brothers, Eliodoro Gaytan and Jose Concepcion Gaytan; along with 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eliodoro Gaytan and Juliana Aguilar; her son, Juan Pablo Gaytan; her daughter, Lourdes Gaytan; three brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City, Texas, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services honoring Teresa's life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. William's Catholic Church in Denver City, Texas, with Father Eduardo Teo officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City.

Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
