Sherrie Kay PettyJohn, of Denver City, Texas, passed away on December 28, 2023, in Denver City, Texas. Funeral Service for Sherrie Kay will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Denver City, Texas at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kyle Streun officiating. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City, Texas.

Sherrie Kay PettyJohn was born in Bakersfield, California on August 13, 1956, to James Hardy Stockman and Etta Elizabeth Ballock Stockman. On November 18, 1986, she married Jimmy PettyJohn, they celebrated 37 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Hardy Stockman, her mother, Etta Elizabeth Stockman, a sister, Modell Hunnicut and a brother, Hardy Stockman.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy PettyJohn; a son, Joshua Hardy Gayle, both of Denver City, Texas.
