Sheron Ann Smith

On October 30, 2024, Sheron Ann Smith, 81 of Plains, Texas passed away at the Garrison in

Lubbock, Texas.

Sheron Ann Smith was born November 12, 1942, in Texas City, Texas to the late Harold Gene

Hart-Smith and Barbara Jacquelyn Shobert.

On May 21, 1961, at the First Methodist Church in Plains Sheron was united in Holy Matrimony

with the late Lanny Arthur Smith.

Sheron leaves behind two sons: Steven L. Smith and wife Tonya; and Timothy R. Smith; Two

granddaughters: Jessica Hogg and husband Jarrod; and Katie Smith; Three grandsons: Jacob

Smith and wife Susannah, Joshua Smith and wife Lindsey and Joel Smith. One sister Katherine

Heck and two nephews: Brent Wilkins and wife Angie; Brandon Wilkins and wife Wendy.

Sheron also leaves behind five great grandchildren: Mikayla Hogg, Khloe Hogg, Vera Smith,

Hunter Gongre and Lilith Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Plains

Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday at 11:30 am at the First Methodist Church in

Plains.
