Shane Lex Langehennig
Shane Lex Langehennig, age 64, passed from this life on March 16, 2026, to be with his heavenly father. Services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Seagraves, Texas. There will be visitation for family and friends Tuesday evening, March 24, 2026, from 6:00-7:30 at Ratliff Funeral Home in Seagraves.
Shane was born September 9, 1961, in Seminole, Texas, the second of four children, to Alex O’Dell and Dorotha Marie Milam Langehennig.
Shane grew up in Seagraves, Texas and attended Seagraves ISD, graduating in 1980. Growing up, he played Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and Little Dribbler basketball. He was a member of the Little Dribbler Basketball American Major League national championship team of 1974. In high school Shane excelled in football and basketball and was a member of the band.
After graduation, Shane joined his father working in the family business, Alex Langehennig Concrete Construction. Shane, along with his dad, brother (Mark), and many others, worked throughout Texas and many other states laying the foundation for cotton gins, businesses, homes and countless other projects.
Shane enjoyed fast cars, music, drafting, cooking, barbecuing and hunting. He also enjoyed entertaining family and friends at his home. He was always willing to help others.
Shane was preceded in death by his parents.
Shane is survived by his two sons Greg Knight and wife Wendy of Frisco, Miles Langehennig and wife Marissa of Wellman, two daughters Candace Langehennig of Waco, Karli Langehennig of Denton, a brother Mark Langehennig and His wife Ginger of Seagraves, two sisters Brenda Fields and husband Bob of Seagraves, Sonya Young and husband Ray of Wolfforth, and five grandchildren Cayley, Chloe, Cambrie, Addyson, and Alexander.
