Funeral services for Sarah Childress, 84, of Denver City, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Trinity Baptist Church with Steve Pierson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5:30 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home in Denver City.

Sarah passed away on October 17, 2024 in Denver City, Texas.

Sarah was born July 3, 1940, in Paris, Texas, to Harold and Viola Ford. She married Rodney Childress on May 22, 1982, in Andrews, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and her stepson, Terry Childress.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Rodney Childress; her sons Ricky Reeves, Randy Reeves, and Farley Reeves; daughter, Sharron Rittenhouse; stepdaughters, Shonda Childress, and Brenda Chambers; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
