Ronnie Joe Middleton

Ronnie Joe Middleton, 84, passed away on May 27, 2024 in Brownfield, Texas. Ronnie was born on April 12, 1940 to Rudolph and Joy Middleton in Lamesa, Texas. He resided in Sundown Texas for 20 years before moving to Brownfield Texas over 25 years ago. He played steel guitar with many area bands, including The Maines Brothers. Music was the center of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Joy Middleton, and sister, Ruby Lois Anderson.

He is survived by his children, Kip Middleton and wife, JoAnn from Levelland, Texas, Leanna Perez and husband, Gilbert from Levelland, Texas, and Ronda Huston and husband, Don from Cross Plains, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Randall Middleton and wife, Kirstie, Colbert Perez and wife, Tesha, Jerrico Bennett and husband, Michael, Cheyenne Britton and husband, Bryce, and Payton Perez; 6 great-grandchildren; and one niece, Joylene Roye.

Graveside services will begin Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in O’Donnell Cemetery with Gilbert Perez officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home in Brownfield Texas.
