Roel Longoria

Funeral Services for Roel Longoria, 71, of Denver City will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the Iglesia Bautista En La Roca Church of Seagraves with Rev. Ruben Cruz officiating, with interment following in the Gaines County Cemetery of Seagraves under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Roel passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 in Seagraves, Texas.

Roel was born January 4, 1951 in Alejandrenas, Texas, to Jose and Jacoba Barrera Longoria.    He married Evilinda Gutierrez on February 17, 1969 in Seagraves, Texas.  He was a farmer in Gaines County for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Iglesia Bautista En La Roca Church.

Roel was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Evilinda Longoria; a daughter Mary Jane Gonzales; four brother Alejos Longoria, Jose Longoria Jr, Mike Longoria, Antonio Longoria; four sisters Elma Vargas, Maria Gonzalez, Matlida Gonzalez, Rafella Sanchez.

Roel is survived by his four sons Gilbert Longoria and his wife Tina of Lubbock, Roel Longoria Jr and his wife Meranda of Seminole, Michael Longoria and his wife Elida of Seagraves, Chris Longoria and his wife Laina of Lubbock; four daughters Nicky Cruz and her husband Emilio of Brownfield, Naome Soto and her husband Steven of Brownfield, Melissa Cantu and her husband Tommy of Seagraves, Jessica Longoria and her husband Jametric of Lubbock along with thirty-one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday, August 23 ^rd and Wednesday, August 24th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, Seagraves, Texas
