Ray Dickerson

Ray Dickerson passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2025 at the age of 93.

He was born on January 14,1932 in Wood County Texas to Robert Pickens and Bessie Dickerson and had 8 siblings. He married Jean Daniel on August 30,1960 in Iowa Park and had 3 children; Rayann, Gary and Kathy. He lived a long and fulfilling life.

Ray spent most of his adult life working in the oil field. Starting with Bonner Oil Services in the 1960’s and retiring from Yale E Key in 2014 at the age of 82. He called Seminole home for almost 60 years.

He loved fishing, Nascar and his cat, PK. Ray never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with someone no matter where he was. He was a good, caring man that many called “salt of the earth”. He will be greatly missed.

Ray was preceded in death by his son, Gary, and his beloved wife, Jean. Survivors include his daughters Rayann Underdown and husband Jimmy of Fort Worth TX and Kathy Kremeier and husband Michael of Shawnee KS. 5 grandchildren: Reagan Walker, Tanner McGarvey, Parker Kremeier, Jennifer Underdown and Jesse Underdown, along with 6 great-grandchildren.
