Seminole……Funeral Services for Patsy Yvonne Reasoner Lacy of Seminole, Texas, will be held

at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at South Seminole Baptist Church, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, Seminole, Texas, officiated by Rev. Buck Wheat.

Patsy Yvonne Reasoner Lacy, 92, long time resident of Seminole, Texas passed away on June 21, 2025. Pat was born December 22, 1932, near Slaton, Texas to Floyd Reasoner and Inis Rucker Reasoner. She attended school in Slaton, Loop, and Seagraves. Patsy graduated from Seagraves High School in 1950. Pat married Charles Elmo Lacy on May 4, 1953, in Lovington, New Mexico. Pat and Charles lived in Del Rio, Brownwood, and Seminole, Texas. Pat was a dedicated wife and mother of four children. She and Charles farmed in Gaines County for many years, owned a fishing marina at Lake Brownwood, and later a business in Seminole. She also served as Gaines County- County clerk for 12 years. Pat had been a member of South Seminole Baptist Church since the early 1960’s and enjoyed her church family. She spent her last 2 years at Sunland Retirement Center in Seminole, and was very thankful for the ladies' help, friendship, kindness, and love. Pat is survived by her children: Linda Wood and husband Hal, Rory Lacy and wife Sheri, Roger Lacy and wife Leisa, and Le’ann Jones and husband Ron, one sister Sue Hough, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Lacy and her parents Floyd and Inis Reasoner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunland Retirement Center.
