Pablo S Gonzales

Pablo S. Gonzales, 76, of Denver City, Texas left this world for his home in Heaven on April 8, 2024. Pablo was born June 21, 1947, to Cresencio Gonzalez and Juana Silvas in Alpine, Texas.

Pablo answered the call to serve his country in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his service in the United States Army, he met his wife Celia M. Gonzales and they were married for 55 years.

Pablo enjoyed watching all sports his kids and grandkids played and his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Pablo is remembered by his family as an amazing husband, father, Popo, and brother. He was a man with a great sense of humor and generous to those who were in need of help. Pablo is greatly loved and missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Celia M. Gonzales; sons, Ruben Gonzales and David Gonzales; grandchildren Nicholas and Reagan Gonzales; sisters, Consuelo Perez, Alice Martinez, Erma Molina and Gloria Gonzales.

Pablo was preceded in death by his parents, Cresencio and Juana, his brothers Domingo Acosta and Jesus Gonzalez.

A public visitation will be held at Ratliff Funeral Home in Denver City, Texas, on April 16, 2024, at 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Denver City Church of Christ, 219 N Ave C, Denver City, Texas with Bro. Skip Rodgers officiating.
