Nelda Faye Garrett

Graveside Services for Nelda Faye Garrett, 99, of Seminole will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Gaines County Memorial Cemetery.

Nelda passed away June 26, 2022 in Abilene, Texas.

She was born June 10, 1923 to John Bell and Katie J. Helfley in Loco, Oklahoma.  Nelda was a free-spirited person.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Nelda loved to fish, cook and garden but most of all she was an excellent seamstress since childhood.  She will be missed dearly but will remain in our hearts forever.

Nelda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, granddaughter Kimberley Jacobsen and son-in-law Don Jacobsen.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Jaconbsen of Abilene, Texas.  Along with 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
