Mylissa Ann Taylor, 43, of Andrews, Tx, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. Visitation services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm. at First Baptist Church, with a memorial service following at 2:00 pm., officiating will be Rev. Brad Irons. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Troy Ratliff and Ratliff Funeral Homes in Denver City, Texas.
Mylissa was born to William Gardner and Teresa Wingrove Gardner on April 5, 1981 in Odessa, Tx. She married the love of her life, Ryan Taylor, on August 2, 2008 in Denver City, Texas. Mylissa received her Associates Degree for paralegal and later received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She was employed with Andrews County, in the adult probation office.
Mylissa is preceded in death by her father, William Gardner; grandfather, Butch Gardner and uncle Allen Gardner
She is survived by her husband, Ryan Taylor of Andrews, Texas; daughter, Rayne Taylor of Andrews, Texas; mother, Teresa; sister, Kristina Spratlen (Eric Burkhart); brother, Anthony McKinney; grandparents, James & JoAnn Wingrove and Helen Gardner; nephews, Blaze Spratlen and Gage Burkhart; nieces, Makenzie Terry and Meagan Burkhart; mother and father in law, Vicki Taylor Pelezo and Jim Pelezo; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family has asked memorials to be made to Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
