Mary Elizabeth Schooler

Seminole…. Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Allen Schooler, 96, of Seminole will be conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Wesleyan Grace Church in Seminole. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the O’Donnell Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Seminole. She passed away Friday morning January 2, 2026.

Mary was born November 15, 1929, in O’Donnell, Texas to Melton and Dovie Anderson Allen. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, graduated from O’Donnell High School May 1945, and married Kenneth Floyd Schooler September 23, 1945, in Lamesa. Kenneth and Mary moved to Gaines County in 1959. Mary assisted Kenneth with both farm and ranch work, and she also worked as a bookkeeper for Goodpasture Grain and several cotton gins across Gaines County for thirty-one years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Schooler in 2012, two daughters Ruth Ella Schooler, and Barbara Sue Schooler Slack, and two brothers.

Those left to cherish her memories are two grandchildren Kenneth Koby Schooler and Chad Mitchell Schooler, both of Seminole, two great grandchildren, Kenneth Kade Schooler and Ella Grace Schooler; one great great grandchild Alexandria Grace Schooler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Family and friend's visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., at the Ratliff Funeral Homes Seminole Chapel.
