Martha Ann Sellers

Funeral Services for Martha Ann Sellers, 74, of Denver City will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 7, 2022 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Streun officiating.  Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery of Seagraves, Texas under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Martha passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 in Denver City, Texas.

Martha was born January 29, 1948 in Seminole, Texas to Charlie and Mary Hicks.  She married Daniel B. Sellers on January 12, 1963 in Hobbs, New Mexico.  Martha was owner and operator of Sellers Steak House alongside of her husband Dan Sellers for twenty-eight years since 1996.  Martha was a kind and good Christian woman a longtime member of the chamber of Commerce.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband Dan Sellers in March 20, 2021; a son Edward “Eddie” Sellers; two brothers O’Neal Hicks and Jimmy Hicks; a sister Lorene Fullbright.

Martha is survived by her three sons Danny Sellers and his wife Renece of Synder, Darrell Sellers and his wife Tammy of Pittsburg, Ricky Sellers and his wife Penny of Denver City; three brothers Wayne Hicks of Pittsburg, Billy Hicks and Robert Hicks both of Lubbock; two sisters Charlene Jones of Plainview, Sue Carr of Lubbock; along with her ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Denver City, Texas.
