Maria Lydia Calderon, of Denver City, Texas, passed away on November 29, 2023, in Denver City, Texas. Funeral Services for Maria Lydia Calderon will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. William’s Catholic Church in Denver City, Texas at 11:00 a.m. with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, in Denver City, Texas. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City, Texas.

Maria was born in Ojinaga, Mexico on February 9, 1927, to Manuel Flores and Maria de Jesus Baeza.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sabino Calderon, her parents, a son, three daughters, four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by son Ubaldo Calderon, a daughter, Maria Isela Buriciaga, and husband, Mario, of Denver City, Texas. Her brother, Rodolfo Flores, a sister Alicia Vasquez, seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
