Margaret Louise (Lewis) Vuicich, beloved mother and grandmother, known to many as Memaw, passed away at the age of 96 on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the First Assembly of God Church in Seagraves, beginning at 2:00 PM. Services will be led by Reverend L.D Henson. Interment will follow at the Seagraves Cemetery under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes Seagraves.
Margaret lived her Christian faith daily, not only in words but through her actions, and faithfully instilled that same foundation of belief, love, and trust in God within her family.
Margaret was born in Burleson County, near Snook, Texas, on January 15, 1929, to Ruben L. Lewis and Emma Lou Lawrence Lewis. She attended school in Clay, Texas. She later attended Draughon’s Business School in Lubbock, Texas.
Margaret and her husband owned and operated Guy’s Refrigeration. She also owned and operated Margaret’s Fashions in Seagraves for many years. Margaret was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Seagraves for 85 years.
Margaret is survived by her son Mike Vuicich (Judy), her daughter Melba Carmichael (Tim).
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Chase Vuicich (Jesika), Christen Garner, Chelsee Hicks (Lance), Lyndsey Seaborn (Jonathan), Lauren Beam (Austin) and Tyler Carmichael.
Margaret cherished her six great grandchildren, Jase and Jathan Vuicich of Lovington, NM; Isla Seaborn of Little Rock, AR; Brooks, Berkley and Brynn Beam of Midland, TX.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Guy, son Bobby Vuicich, daughter-in-law Jaycene Vuicich, and grandson Chancellor Vuicich.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude and appreciation to the caring staff at The Shinnery Oaks Community in Denver City.
Family and friend’s visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Ratliff Funeral Homes Seagraves Chapel.
