Lonnie Mack Pate age 70 was called to home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 1, 2026, in Denver City, Texas. Lonnie was born August 21, 1955, to Roy Lee Pate and Opal Fern Tow in Portales New Mexico. He grew up in Tatum New Mexico. He graduated from Tatum High School. Lonnie loved hot rods. He was a mechanic, a welder, and he worked the derricks on the drilling rigs in New Mexico and Texas. He also ranched with his stepfather, JD Guye south Of Tatum. He loved his nephews Wayne Cole, Robert Presher and his niece, Michelle Presher, he spent a lot of time reliving his childhood with them. Lonnie had a great laugh a good sense of humor and a big smile. Lonnie was survived by his sister Lisa Tupa husband, Pat Tupa, his nephews Wayne Cole, Robert Presher and his niece Michelle Presher. He was proceeded in death by his dad Roy Lee Pate, his mother, Opal fern Tow (Guye) his grandparents, Callie Mack Pate, Leah Lock, John Henry Tow and Lola Ashbrook, and stepfather, JD Guye. Lonnie will be remembered for his kindness, his smile and his laugh. He was a troubadour through the toughest times without any complaint his memory and stories and laughter were some of the best, and we will carry them in our heart. He was truly loved and will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Tatum meals to you PO Box 2 Tatum NM 88267. A private memorial service will be held in Elida New Mexico. His ashes will be buried next to his dad and grandparents and other family members.
