Funeral services for Linda Faye Langehennig, 71, will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at the First Assembly of God in Seagraves at 11:00 am with Rev. L.D. Hinson officiating, with interment following in the Gaines County Cemetery of Seagraves under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.
Linda Faye Langehennig of Seagraves passed away March 16, 2023, in Lubbock Texas.
Linda was born March 13, 1952, in Winters Texas to Douglas Henry and Fannie Faye Stovall. Linda was the oldest of 35 grandchildren. Her interests were crocheting, and she made many beautiful afghans for friends and family. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan attending concerts and collecting anything Elvis. She also loved to watch any and every western ever made, especially Gunsmoke.
Linda had no children of her own but was a second mother to many. She cared for the Lancet girls (Nikki, Kathy, and Jessica) and the Attaway boys (Logan and Lex) as they were growing up. She was also a very special and loving niece and caregiver for her aunt Dena Mae until both of their health declined. She was beloved by her family and friends always making get-togethers fun. Linda worked in the Food Service Department for Seagraves ISD for many years.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents John Henry and Lillian Estelle Langehennig and maternal grandparents Joe and Annie Stovall, and one brother, Douglas Wayne Langehennig.
Linda is survived by her sister-in-law Edna Faye Runkel and husband Jay of Andrews. Two nephews, Wayne & Jayci Langehennig and Eric & Tanisha Langehennig. Great nephews, Kennedy Prescott & Mila; Marquiz Burns & Cam; Kai Langehennig and Sebastian Adkins. Great niece Yuna L. Burnside & Charles. Two great great nephews Adonis and Aries Prescott and great great niece Leah Prescott along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Viewing will be from 1:00 to 8:00, family visitation 3:00 to 5:00, Sunday March 19, 2023, at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Seagraves.
