Laura Nann Pruitt Harris

Graveside Services for Laura Nann Pruitt Harris, 93, of Denver City, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Denver City Memorial Park with Rev. Kevin Penner officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Laura passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 in Denver City, Texas.

Laura was born on February 16, 1929 in Loca, Oklahoma to Ernest Adolphus and Lillian Ella Means Pruitt. Laura married Harley S. Harris on August 1, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. She had been a member of the Denver City Community since 1960, a housewife and a great lady she will be missed by all her family and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her father Ernest Pruitt in 1948 and her mother Lillian Pruitt in 1988;

Her husband Harley Harris in 1995; a daughter Nancy Taff in 2002; a son Gary Harris in 2021, three brothers Turner Pruitt, Kermit Pruitt, and Robert Pruitt; two grandsons Harley Taff in 2020 and Jimmy Cook 2001; one great grandson Russell William Jr.in 2013.

Laura is survived by her daughter Patty Etter and her husband Lynn of Denver City; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

Family and Friends visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Denver City.
