In Loving Memory of Larry A. Jeter

Larry A. Jeter, of Denver City, Texas, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on November 28, 1951, in Portales, New Mexico, to Harold and Thelma Jeter.

Larry worked as an oilfield consultant in the petroleum industry. Throughout his life, he built lasting relationships and leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory.

Larry married Patricia Bowman on April 12, 1992, in Lovington, New Mexico. Together, they shared a life and family filled with memories that will continue to be treasured by those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Thelma Jeter; his granddaughter, Addyson Aranda; and his brother, Kenneth Lawton Jeter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia Jeter; his four sons, Chad Jeter and wife Heather, Shayne Jeter, Jacob Boyston and wife Crystal Kinney, and Buddy Boyston and wife Tara; his daughter, Jennifer Rodriguez and husband Trini; his brother, Ralph Jeter and wife Shirley; and his sister, LaDene Whitaker. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory forward for generations to come.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Denver City Assembly of God Church with Pastor Danny Wright officiating. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City. Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery in Lamesa, Texas.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City, Texas.

Larry will be remembered by his loving family and all who knew him. His life and legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the generations of family who will continue to honor his memory.
