Kenneth Lee White

Memorial Services for Kenneth Lee White, 90, of Denver City, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Ratliff Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Benningfield officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Kenneth passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, in Denver City, Texas.

Kenneth was born January 21, 1932, in Loop, Texas to Sterling Lee and Mittie White.  He was raised in Loop, Texas, and back to Denver City to stay in 1965.  He was a mechanic by trade, worked for Short and Field Chevrolet for many years until opening Ken’s Automotive in 1984.  Upon retirement, operated and owned Ken’s Wrecker Service.  He married Elsie Wilcher in September 28, 1974 in Seagraves, Texas.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; a son Gary Brooks; a daughter Joyce Pettyjohn.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Elsie White; four sons Vernon White, Vernon Pettyjohn, Jimmy Pettyjohn, Robert McGee; five daughters Renee White, Yolanda Cotton, Sondra White, Linda May, Lisa Trent; twenty-five grandchildren; sixty-three great grandchildren along with several great great grandchildren; and many friends.
