In Loving Memory of Joyce Clardy
A Tribute to a Beloved Wife, Mother, and Friend It is with deep sorrow and cherished remembrance that we announce the death of a beloved wife, mother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched all who knew her. Her journey through life was marked by generosity, compassion, and an enduring spirit that inspired her family and friends every day. Billie Joyce Clardy, 92, died peacefully holding the “love of her life’s” hand on July 16, 2025. Joyce was born to Bill Oscar and Alice (Mason) Daniel in a farm home near Lums Chapel, Texas on December 12, 1932. She was raised and schooled in and near various South Plains communities. She graduated from Morton High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alice Daniel; brother Stanley Leo Daniel; and brother Jerry Don Daniel. She is survived by the “love of her life”, husband Herb Clardy of Shallowater, Texas; her daughter Rox Anne Dyson and her husband, Darrell of Elgin, Texas; her son Dwayne Page and his wife, Rachel of Allen, Texas; grandchildren Alissa Nevin, Derek Dyson, Victoria Page, and Amanda Page; and three great grandchildren, Charlie, Ascher, and Barrett. She was the only girl in her parent’s family, but she considered her three sisters-in-law her sisters; Dinger Daniel, Lubbock; and Wanda Ely and Barbara Daniel, both deceased. She will be remembered for fulfilling the role she always aspired to— a loving wife and mother to her children. Her devotion to her family also extended to her nephews and nieces. Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and hope—a light that continues to shine, even in her absence. She is truly, “Unforgettable. "She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she graced. She now is asleep, awaiting her resurrection on that day, and may her memory be a blessing.
