Services for Joe Vasquez will be Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Brownfield, Texas with interment to follow at the Brownfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 8 PM, at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Brownfield, Texas with a rosary at 6:30 PM.

Joe Vasquez, 70, of Plains was born on December 16, 1952, in Brownfield, Texas to Apolonio and Guadalupe Vasquez.

He passed away, August 5, 2023 in Plains, Texas.

Joe worked for Jeff Jenkins, a moving company for 20 years.

He married Erlinda Flores on June 18, 2020, they celebrated three years of marriage this year.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mark Anthony Vasquez, a brother, Paul Vasquez and wife, Debra.

Survivors include his wife Erlinda (Linda) of Plains, Texas, a son, Joseph Vasquez and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, Texas, two brothers, John Vasquez, and Raymond Vasquez, two sisters, Lisa Falgado, and Stella Chavez. Joe is also survived by his step-children, Misty (Raymond), Kristi (Joel), Bobbie Jo (Loyd), Bettie Jo (C.J.), Gabriella (Abrian) and Brandon. He had thirteen grandchildren.
