Hector Gonzalez, of Denver City, Texas, passed away on November 6, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services for Hector Gonzalez will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City, Texas at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, in Denver City, Texas. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City, Texas.

Hector was born in Pecos, Texas on April 2, 1977, to Oscar and Maria Gonzalez. He worked as a fisherman in the oilfield.

He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Gonzalez Sr., in 2002, three brothers; Maximo Gonzalez, in 1985, Robert Gonzalez, in 1997 and Oscar Gonzalez, in 2016; one sister Rosa Gonzalez, in 2013.

He is survived by his wife Veronica Gonzalez of Lubbock, Texas; six children sons Hector Gonzalez Jr., of Cleburne, Texas, Matthew Gonzalez, of Levelland, Texas; four daughters Hillary Dunn, of Seminole, Texas, Haleigh Gonzalez, of Lubbock, Texas, Hanna Gonzalez, of Lubbock, Texas, Heidi Gonzalez, of Lubbock, Texas; three brothers Alfredo Gonzalez, of Denver City, Texas, Javier Gonzalez, of Midland, Texas, David Gonzalez, of Andrews, Texas and one sister, Martina Orona, of Denver City, Texas, and seven grandchildren.
