Glen Weldon Huffaker

Glen died Monday, April 4, 2022 in Denver City, Texas.

Glen was born on August 2, 1930 in Grassland, Texas to Herman and Ollie Hicks Huffaker.  Glen was a member of the Nazarene Church.  Glen married Joy Stewart on March 7, 1952 in Grassland, Texas and they enjoyed life together for seventy years.  He moved to Denver City in 1967 where he farmed and also raised cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Greg Huffaker;

a daughter Athena Ware; a brother Roy Huffaker and three sisters: Bernice Webb, Ruth Keese, Earlene Calvert.

Glen is survived by his wife Joy Huffaker; a daughter Starla Marion and her husband Ray of Denver City; two brothers Kenneth Huffaker and his wife Sonja of Lubbock; Bobby Huffaker and his wife Libby of Bixby, Oklahoma; a sister Ludie Johnston and her husband Jay of Fort Collins; along with six grandchildren: Brian and Jonna Marion, Kristi and Shaun Ivy, Chandy and Jerry Dominguez, Miranda and Bart Thomas, April and Shannon Ward, Tyler and Taryn Huffaker; eighteen great grandchildren: Kodi, Kurt, Spencer, Devin, Jaryd, Lexi, Brennen, Bryson, Blake, Bret’lei, Destini and Jake, Randee and Austin, Cade, Austin, Kaitlyn, Braylon, Tesley, Tatum, and three great-great grandchildren: J”Leigh. Kyler, Walker.
