Funeral services for Filemon Gomez Olvera, will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at St. Paul Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Father Jose de Dios Gonzalez officiating, with interment following in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves, Texas under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Seagraves, Texas.

Filemon Olvera, of Seagraves, Texas passed away August 6, 2023 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born November 22, 1940 in Sinton, Texas to Teodoro Olvero and Clemencio Gomez.

He was preceded in death by his parents Teodoro and Clemencio Olvero, his brother Antonio and sister Florencia.

Filemon is survived by his three daughters Irma Espinoza, Alice Cantu, and Beatrice Lopez. His brother Frank Olvera and two sisters Consuelo Martinez and Esperanza Guisar. Thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
