Fermin H. Luna

Funeral services for Fermin Luna, 74, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating.

Interment will follow in the Plains Cemetery under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City, Texas.

Visitation and reflections of life will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, and Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. at the Ratliff Funeral Homes Chapel.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.

Fermin passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Fermín was born on July 7, 1948, to Pablo Luna and Felicitas Hernandez in San Francisco De Los Romo, Aguascalientes, México.

His passion in life was being around his family and making lasting memories. He always made it a priority to attend every one of his grandkids sporting events, he will definitely be missed at those events.

Fermin married Martina Méndez February 19, 1977 in Delicias, Chihuahua, México. From this union they had two children.

Fermin was a farmer for over twenty years before retiring, shortly after retiring from the farming industry, he went to work with his son for the Yoakum Co. PCT. 1. He worked for the Yoakum County PCT. 1 for eight years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his eight brothers and sister.

Fermin is survived by his wife of 46 years Martina Luna of Plains, Texas, a son Fermin Luna and wife Nohemi of Plains, Texas; a daughter Arasely Luna and Jaime Moreno of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren Fermin Luna III, Luis Luna, Julian Luna, Hailee Moreno and Zoë Moreno.
