Felix Perez III (Karocky) went to his heavenly home on June 12, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1967, to Felix Perez, Jr. and Alicia Garcia Perez in Brownfield, Texas. He enjoyed playing football for the McCaulley Eagles. During football games you often would hear Coach Bates comment, "Come on peanut get a block!!" Felix was a hard worker.
At a very young age he learned how to chop cotton with his grandpa Felix and learned to drive a tractor, with his Uncle Jimmy. He graduated high school and at the age of 18, he began working in the oil fields. After losing his daddy "Feliz Jr." he was able to help Alicia (mom) provide for the family, with a roof over their head and food on the table. He was a great example, by showing his younger brothers, Pete and Joel how to work. Especially around summertime, so that they could help pay, Betty's (little sister) cheer camp. He loved going and visiting his sisters, Cecelia, Debra, and erica since they all decided to move to Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio (LOL). Of course, he couldn't go visit without his second parents Pete and Angela. LOL!
He loved to dance to Country/Tejano music and wear his cowboy hat. He had a great passion for cooking. His children, Hunter, Brenden, Destiny, Trystan, Felicity, and Brooklyn, whom he all loved dearly, were his greatest treasure. He also had three little buddies Ashton, Avery, and Aiden, whom he kept snacks in his refrigerator, for them. Ricky, (older brother) was his spiritual mentor. One of Felix's major accomplishments was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Alicia Perez, Jr.; two twin brothers, Michael and Mark Perez; his paternal grandparents, Felix and Minerva Perez, Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Trinidad and Susie Garcia.
He is survived by his wife, Trish Jones; his children, Hunter Perez and wife Courtney of Mabank, Texas, Brenden Johnson and wife Kelsea of Mabank, Texas, Destiny Perez of Ft. Stockton, Texas, Trystan, Felicity, and Brooklyn Perez all of Midland, Texas; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Ricky Perez and wife Debra of Brownfield, Texas, Pete Perez and Wife Angela, of Brownfield, Texas, Joel Perez of Brownfield, Texas, Max Perez of Snyder, Texas, Raymon Perez of Midland, Texas; four sisters, Betty Vela and husband Eloy of Brownfield, Texas, Cecelia Perez El cunado Cesar of Austin, Texas, Debra Coronado of Dallas, Texas, and Erica Perez of Denver City, Texas; five aunts, Janie Villarreal of Brownfield, Texas, Cindy Perez of Lubbock, Texas, Dora Perez of San Antonio, Texas, Mary Helan Garcia of Abilene, Texas, and Susie Garica of Snyder, Texas; one uncle, Rudy Perez of Brownfield, Texas; lots of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
