Ernest Gonzales

Memorial Services for Ernest Gonzales, 64, of Denver City, Texas, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 17, 2022, in the Ratliff Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Dominguez officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, Seminole, Texas.

Ernest passed away September 13, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas.

Ernest was born August 12, 1958, in San Angelo, Texas to Jose and Maria Candelaria Hernandez Gonzales. He was formally of Dallas, Hobbs and Denver City. Ernest worked as a roustabout for the oilfield for many years and in the later years he worked as a handyman. Ernest will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Lisa Gonzales; two sisters Beatrice Dominguez and Lydia Gonzales; a brother-in-law George Flores.

Ernest is survived by his two daughters Lori Brantley and her husband William of Pecos, Angela Gonzales of Hobbs; four brothers Roy Gonzales and his wife Ramona, Ralph Gonzales and his wife Katie, David Gonzales and his wife Linda, Joe Gonzales all of Denver City; four sisters Mary Flores, Elida Sanchez and her husband Jesus, Gloria Carrasco and her husband Rogelio all of Denver City, Irene Jaramillo and her husband Alex of Littlefield; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
