Edna Pearl Hunt, 87, of Denver City, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, in Denver City.
Edna was born on October 26, 1938, in Silverton, Texas, to Charlie Rowell and Emily Pearl Thompson Rowell. She made Denver City her home in 2000 and was united in marriage to Bill Hunt on July 11, 2002. Edna was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church, where she found joy in fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Hunt; her parents, Charlie and Emily Pearl Rowell; her daughters, Marion Biles and Tina Baxter; and her first husband, Kenneth Marion Hooten.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jimmy Hooten of Chico, Texas, Gene Hooten of Bowie, Texas, and Dean Hooten of Bowie, Texas; her daughter, Rhonda McColloch of Denver City, Texas; her stepson, Perry Hunt of Denver City, Texas; her stepdaughter, Donna Mason of Andrews, Texas; her brothers, Dean Rowell of Silverton, Texas, Dale Rowell of Fritch, Texas, and Clifford Rowell of Rancho Viejo, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
