DONNIE CHARLES KINNISON, 80, of Inez, Texas passed in peace, surrounded by his family on September 30, 2023, in Portland, Texas. His Graveside Service will be in Gaines County Cemetery at 4:00pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in Seminole, TX.

Donnie will be long remembered. He was a jack of all trades. He was a cotton and peanut farmer for many years until he moved on to DuPont where he retired, he drove limousines, buses, built and remodeled homes, was a Mr. Fix it for everything, always ready to lend a hand to get the job done. As a son, brother, father, grandpa and great grandpa, Donnie was always there. Those he loved got the very best of him. He was the kind of man who gave you unwavering loyalty and stood by you. He knew what to say and when to say it. He lives on in our memories and in our laughter. His story is a life well lived! Donnie is survived by his sons Donny Ray and Charles Justin (Patsy), 8 grandchildren, Benjamin Sharplin, Justin Kinnison, Sheri Alex (Nathan), Samantha Kinnison, Katrina, Krista, Kristin, (Chase), and Joshua Resendez. He has 9 great grandchildren Serenity, Julian, Kayeli, Christian, Rudy, Raynette, Coltrane, Brandt, and Verina. He also has a brother, Melvin and three sisters Barbara Arnold, Jean Ingram, and Jane Miller, and many in laws, nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces, grandnephews, and great grands. He is preceded in death by his parents, two of his brothers, his beloved daughter Nannette. A Memorial service will be held in Victoria, TX on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 5:00pm at Faith Family Church.
