Donna Mae Browne (Nana) of Seagraves, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on September 19, 1957, in Seagraves, Texas, to Don and Judy Sellers. She grew up in Seagraves and later graduated from Texas Tech University, where she earned her degree and proudly performed as a member of the Goin' Band from Raiderland. In March 1981, Donna married Ricky Page. Together they welcomed two sons and shared many happy years before Ricky's tragic passing in August 1988. On May 5, 1995, Donna married Jerry Dean Browne of Seagraves, Texas. Through their marriage, she joyfully gained another son and a daughter, creating a blended family that became the center of her world. Donna devoted more than 24 years to education, touching countless lives throughout her career. She taught in Idalou, Lubbock, Seagraves, and Seminole ISDs. Throughout her years in education, Donna was passionate about helping students and teachers succeed. In addition to her work in the classroom and as an administrator, she had the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of state standardized assessments and reading strategies, helping shape educational practices that impacted students far beyond her own schools. Donna dedicated her life to helping children learn, grow, and achieve their fullest potential. Above all else, Donna cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her loved ones, and she never missed an opportunity to proudly share their accomplishments with everyone she met. Donna was preceded in death by her first husband, Ricky Page; her grandparents; and her father, Don Sellers. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Dean Browne; her mother, Judy Sellers; her brother, Daylan Sellers and wife Rosilyn; her children, Alvis Browne and wife Cyndi, Trina Cornett and husband Ronnie, Justin Browne and wife Erica, and Kyle Browne and wife Bethany. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Donna's legacy of love, service, and dedication to education will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Whether she was teaching in the classroom, leading as an administrator, supporting her family, or cheering on her grandchildren from the sidelines, Donna poured her heart into everything she did. She had a gift for making people feel valued, encouraged, and loved. Her kindness, wisdom, unwavering faith, and contagious smile left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Above all, Donna's greatest joy was her family. She was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, celebrate their accomplishments, and create lasting memories together. Her love, guidance, and devotion will continue to be felt for generations to come. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on in the countless students she inspired, the family she cherished, and the many lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey. Donna will forever be remembered with love, gratitude, and admiration by all who knew her. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Donna is dancing her way through Heaven alongside those who have gone before her, joyfully reunited with loved ones and watching over those who will one day join her. Until then, her spirit, love, and memories will remain forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
