Dolores Acosta

Dolores passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 in Denver City, Texas.

Dolores was born on November 8, 1931 in Presidio, Texas to Antonio and Herminia Garcia Orona.  She married Julio Acosta on November 11, 1950 in Mexico.  She was a long-time member of the Denver City community since 1977 and a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church of Denver City, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, four sisters.

Dolores is survived by her two sons Julio Acosta and his wife Irma of Odessa, Marcelo Acosta of Denver City; four daughters Alicia Sanchez of Denver City, Hortencia Valenzuela and her husband Luis of Odessa, Gloria Hernandez and her husband Arturo of Levelland, Maria Perez and her husband Francisco of Midland; along with twenty-two grandchildren, fifty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Rosary is be held on Wednesday, May 18 th and Thursday May 19 th from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, Denver City, Texas.

Funeral Mass for Dolores Acosta, 90, of Denver City, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 20, 2022 in the St. William Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating, with interment following in the Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City
