Debra Jane Grosstueck
February 15, 1956 – July 13, 2026
Debra Jane Grosstueck, 70, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Lubbock. She was born on February 15, 1956, in Seagraves, Texas, to Robert Lee Elliston and Araeh Wanna Frazier Elliston.
Debra graduated from Seagraves High School and went on to build a remarkable career as an accountant with Cooper Natural Resources (CNR), where she faithfully served for 41 years in Loop, Texas. She was admired for her dedication, strong work ethic, and loyalty, earning the respect of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.
On 1994, Debra married the love of her life, Hans Grosstueck, at Temple Baptist Church. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and cherished memories.
Debra found joy in playing tennis, enjoying her mama's cooking, and spending time at family gatherings. She believed one of life's most important lessons was to always be ready to take care of your children. Above all else, she was a devoted mother, a loving aunt, a caring sister, and a faithful friend. Known as the life of the party, Debra had a warm spirit that brought laughter and happiness wherever she went. Her kindness, unwavering love for her family, and tireless work ethic will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Araeh Wanna Elliston; her husband, Hans Grosstueck; her brothers, Robert Lee Elliston and Herman Elliston; and her sisters, Mary Payne and Hattie Oliver.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved son, Derik Grosstueck of Lubbock; her brother, Melvin Elliston and his wife, Phyllis, of Punta Gorda, Florida; her sister, Jerry Ables of Lubbock; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Debra's legacy of love, strength, laughter, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Ratlif funeral Home Chapel in Brownfield, Texas, officiated by Chaplain Dave Drake under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes Brownfield.
Family and friend's visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Brownfield, Texas.
