Dalphene Benson, 98, passed away on April 6, 2025 in Denver City, Texas. A visitation is set up on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ratliff Funeral Home in Denver City, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Denver City Methodist Church. Officiating will be by Pastor Rick Doyle.

Dalphene was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on April 29, 1926 to Jessie Morris and Lizzie Travis. Dalphene resided in Denver City and graduated from Denver City High School in 1945. She worked for various businesses in Denver City until her sons graduated from college and then became a homemaker. She loved her family, was very active in the community, and enjoyed baking. She is preceded in death by her father Jessie Morris, her mother Lizzie Travis, her husband Raymond Benson, her son Ronald Benson, 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her son Dwaine Benson of Lubbock, Texas and her sister George Anna Prather of McCamey, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
