Claudine Robinett

Claudine (Reston) Robinett, 85, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was born in Lamesa, Texas, on February 28, 1940, to Claudie and Velma Walker. Claudine married Max Reston September 14, 1957 who preceded her in death and she married Lavoy Robinett March 25,1994 who also preceded her in death.


Claudine spent much of her life in Denver City, Texas, where she worked for the Sears Catalog Store from 1975 to 1989 and later served as an insurance clerk at Yoakum County Hospital for 14 years. After retirement, Claudine worked at Ratliff Funeral home. In 2021, she moved to Lubbock to be closer to her family. She was a devoted and longtime member of First Assembly of God Church in Denver City, where her faith and kindness touched many lives.


She is survived by her children: Darrell Reston and wife Pam of Snyder, Texas; Donnie Reston and wife Debbie of Lubbock, Texas; Roger Reston and wife Serena of Waxahachie, Texas; Dia Robinett of Midland, Texas; and Trisha Noble and husband Kevin of Frisco, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters JoAnn Todd of Tyler, Texas, and Gloria Sprouse of Monahans, Texas; her brother Bob Walker of Spring, Texas; six granddaughters, three grandsons, three great-granddaughters, four great-grandsons, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Claudine was preceded in death by her first husband, Max Reston; her daughter, Robin Claudine Reston; her second husband, Lavoy Robinett; her brothers Steve Walker and Leland Walker; and her sister Betty Rowe.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Ratliff Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Denver City First Assembly of God, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.


Claudine will be remembered for her deep faith, her love for her family, and her gentle, giving spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, perseverance, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
