Catherine was a strong Christian woman, confessing and living her love for the Lord continuously. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and GA leader. Catherine was a housewife and mother serving her family. She was known for her many prayers and kindness for friends and family. Catherine wrote letters to prisoners in different prisons sharing Christ Love. Through God’s direction she was shown when people were hurting and would pray for them and love them no matter where they were at or who they were. Could be walking down the street, in a grocery store, or at the Post Office.
Catherine was known as the “Queen” by the many nieces and nephews because of her great love and Christian leadership for the family. She is the last of the Reed Family. Catherine will be greatly missed, but her Faith in the Lord will carry through generations from the example she lived.
