Buddy Jasper Britton was born on January 26, 1937 in Weatherford, Tx. He passed away on July 17, 2022. He was 85 years old. Some say he died of complications of vascular dementia. His children would all say he died of a broken heart. He lost his soulmate in September of 2020.
He was a roofer by trade, for over 50 years, he was very good at the job and his company, B&B Roofing had a stellar reputation.
He met his spouse in Sept. of 1955, Roseland Britton. He was smitten immediately. They were married for 65 years, they resided in Lubbock, Texas. They had five children, four girls and a boy.
He loved to play golf after he retired, but when his best friend, JB Anthony stopped playing, he never played again. It wasn’t about the golf, it was about the friendship.
He is survived by four of his five children. His oldest daughter, Brinda McCrory, passed in January of 2022. His second daughter, Teresa Holman and husband Randy live in Houston, Tx. Third daughter Bonnie Pettyjohn, and husband Vernon, reside in Denver City, Tx. Fourth daughter, Jessica Moberg and husband, John reside in Farmington, New Mexico. And the prince, Buddy Jasper, Jr. married to Debbie Britton, they reside in Tomball, Tx.
Nineteen grandchildren,Tasha Marks, Amy Holmes, Amanda Hughes, Holli Waller, Randy Hughes Bethune, Jr., Nathan Uriah McCrory, Elizabeth Sommers, Haley Morrison, Ivory Rose, Kinsey Britton, Johnathan Moberg, Kierra Britton, Dillon McDougal, Sarina Chasco, Jamie Linker, Melissa Wages, Joseph Pettyjohn and Trey Cates-Pettyjohn.
He also had 25 great grand children and one great, great grandchild.
