Brenda Diann Bird

Brenda Diann Bird was born on November 30, 1960, and passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 65, in Lubbock, Texas.

Brenda worked for many years at a dry cleaners. She attended First Church of the Nazarene in Lubbock, Texas, and earned her degree from Southern Nazarene University.

Her mother taught her to crochet, and she enjoyed making everything from toys to blankets. Brenda loved keeping in touch with her family and always remembered birthdays and special occasions with a thoughtful message.

Brenda was the youngest of three children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edna Bird of Seagraves, Texas, and her brother, Dennis Bird of Aztec, New Mexico.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Hart, and brother-in-law, Carrol Hart, of Lubbock, Texas; her sister-in-law, Donna Bird of Aztec, New Mexico; her nieces and nephews: Michael and Annette Hart of Amarillo, Texas; Kevin and Christi Hart of Lubbock, Texas; Katrina and Blake Ball of Lubbock, Texas; Patricia Bird of Aztec, New Mexico; and Melissa Bird of Aztec, New Mexico. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews: Corey, Tanner, Moriah, Dante, Mikayla, Christina, Vanessa, Madison, K.C., Kyler, Rielyn, Devin, and Tylee.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Nazarene in Seagraves, Texas, on July 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
