White Oak, Texas – Bessie Allene Flaugher, a beloved Christian mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, at the age of 105. Born on November 25, 1919, in Sylvester, Texas, Bessie lived a long and fulfilling life. Doss Fitness Center, where she was celebrated on her 100th birthday by staff and community friends with a wonderful birthday party, of which she was very proud. Shortly after celebrating her birthday in her beloved Seminole, Texas, she relocated to White Oak, Texas to live with her daughter. Bessie was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two children, Jo Ann Thomason Parks and Allen Ray Flaugher. She enjoyed spending time with family. Bessie is survived by her children, Jo Ann Parks and Allen Ray and wife Lanell Flaugher, Grandchildren, Kelly and husband Thomas Rolland, John Allen Parks, Charlotte and husband Kelly Richardson, Allen Ray Jr. and wife Amanda Flaugher and 11 great-grandchildren.
