Barbara Joan Qualls

Funeral services for Barbara Joan Qualls, will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Denver City, Texas at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Randy Bulter officiating, and Assisting Rev. Kyle Struen under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City, Texas.

Barbara was born in Welch, Texas, on June 21, 1934, and is now joining her beloved Billy L. Qualls in heaven. She worked as an Elementary Teacher for twenty-nine years in Denver City, Texas. Throughout all her years of living in Denver City, she built strong friendships that she held tight to her heart.

She is preceded in her death by her parents, Clarence Hocker and Amanda Jones; and her husband Billy L. Qualls; a son Robert, and two brothers Darrell, and Kenneth Hocker. She is survived by her daughter Jaymie Brown and husband Jim of Denver City, Texas, four grandchildren James Robert Qualls, Jessica Shults, Emily Patterson, Justin Brown, and six great grandchildren Carson Qualls, Mason Patterson, Charlotte Qualls, Jentry Shults, Jase Shults, and Roman Patterson
