Avis Fern Warren

Memorial services for Avis Fern Warren, 87, of Seminole, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Seminole, Texas with Rev. Joe Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Memorial Gardens in Hobbs, NM, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas.

Fern passed away September 10, 2022 in Seminole, Texas at Memorial Health Care Center, surrounded by her family.

Fern was born July 18, 1935 in McDonald, New Mexico to Rufus and Jewel Craig. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Seminole and loved her Sunday School class, as well as her friends at Memorial Place. She moved to Seminole in 2021, having previously lived in Lovington and Hobbs, NM.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband John Warren in 2016, daughter Paula Miller, grandson Matthew Miller and two great grandchildren Avery Claire Warren and Matthew John Miller.

Fern is survived by a son Mike Warren and his wife Sherrie of Seminole, a daughter Becky Winn and her husband Kenneth of Hobbs; five grandchildren Jeff Warren, David Warren, Ryan Warren, Todd Warren and Whitney Ellison, along with nine great grandchildren.

If desired, memorial gifts may be given to the Martha Sunday School class of First Baptist Church in Seminole.
